Let Freedom Ring"

Writer's picture: Stephanie SvedinStephanie Svedin

The 4th of July celebrations are always delightful, and this year, I decided to host an event with all my "Friendors" (vendors who've become friends). Each of us utilized our talents to craft something extraordinary, and we took a moment to relish our own creations. In our profession, we often miss the opportunity to enjoy the beauty we create. However, this time, we ensured we did just that. Our aim was to craft something unique, elevating the typical backyard barbecue to a more sophisticated affair. A list of all the vendors, along with details on where to acquire some of the items, can be found at the end of the post or by clicking here.

An enticing and stylish array of desserts presents a delightful dilemma: deciding which delicious treat to indulge in first.

The firework-inspired cake was beautifully complemented by an acrylic cake topper from Natalie of Lollie and Mac.

These cute girls thoroughly enjoyed Boujee Bounce's bounce house.

Cassie from Boone Balloons really outshone herself with the balloon display. The balloons brought a playful yet elegant touch. Both the balloon garland and the balloon flag were spot on.

Stacie from Whip It Custom Cookies created an adorable cookie flag. It was almost a shame to eat such a cute arrangement, but her cookies are simply too delicious to resist.

I created these 1776 cupcakes, which were made even more delightful with cookies from Amy at Hales Yeah Cookies and Stacie at Whip It Custom Cookies. Breanna from Macarons by Breanna crafted the scrumptious macarons and the mini pavlovas. If you haven't sampled these delicious treats yet, you're truly missing out. They're not just a feast for the eyes but also irresistible treats that you'll find yourself devouring in no time.

A display of delightful and yummy fireworks on these exquisite plates from Anthropologie.

The florals from Tesla of Blooms by Tesla were exceptional, adding an elegant and stunning touch.

Ashley from Utah Party Backdrops provided the ideal setting to showcase Natalie of Lollie and Mac's acrylic letters, which served as a reminder of the freedoms we cherish, thanks to those who fought in 1776.

The combination of plates, vintage glasses, rattan charger plates, and gold silverware created a look that was both casual and elegant. The plates featured in the photo are from Pottery Barn, the chargers from Bluum Maison, the vintage goblets found on Amazon, and the gold silverware is by Better Homes and Gardens.

Behold the stunning Tesla as she adds the final touches to her floral arrangement.

Barbecue cuisine is elevated to a sophisticated level. Potato salad becomes refined when served in classic glasses from Crate and Barrel.

This photo of berries looks so vivid, you can almost taste them.

"Let Freedom Ring" resonates deeply! I'm truly thankful to be in a land brimming with liberties. Having worked with individuals from places where such freedoms are scarce, I've come to appreciate ours even more. My gratitude extends to all the brave souls, past and present, who safeguard these precious rights.
